Friendcaller for iPhone, Ipod & Ipad updated to version 3 pro.

Using FriendCaller to make free phone calls over wifi VOIP is a breeze. I discovered FriendCaller when I had my Nexus one and was then able to test Friendcaller both on Wifi and 3G. With FriendCaller I am able to make phone calls without using headsets; Skype does not work that well without headsets. Similarly to Skype, FriendCaller lets you make free calls to your FriendCaller friends or Cheap calls to land lines and mobile devices.  I have used it on my iPad, so I recommend you give it a try. The app itself is free.

Opera shows what comes next at Mobile World Congress, Opera Mini for iPad.

Opera will introduce its Mini browser in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress. This is kind of cool, I use Opera mini on all my devices and I'm looking forward for a new experience on the iPad.

"105 million people might use Opera's browsers today, but Opera Software cares even more about tomorrow. At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, new versions of the Opera Mini browser on Android, iPhone, J2ME, BlackBerry, Symbian and even the iPad will appear. The Opera Mobile browser will not be left behind either, with the latest version for Android and Symbian making their debut. Come by the booth to say hello, check out what is coming up next, or tell us what you would like to see from us next. We are in Hall 1, Booth C44."

Apple adds Search filter to App Store.

I just noticed that Apple has silently pushed an update to the iPad that brings filters to the App Store. This surely makes searching the thousands of apps easier. As can be seen in the picture, the new addition lets you filter by Category, Sub Category, Release date, Customer Ratings, Price and By Device.
